VISIONFOURVIDEO is a video production company run by Graham Baldwin. We are based in the village of Euxton just between Chorley and Leyland, with Preston, Blackburn and Wigan just fifteen minutes away. We have easy access to the motorway network and so are very conveniently situated to access anywhere within Lancashire and the Northwest.
Being a small, personally run company we can offer a both a realistic costing structure and a direct, personal and efficient service. I am involved in filming all our work either as a cameraman or director and we bring in freelance cameramen, sound and lighting crews as required.
We are currently undertaking promotional, training and website videos for local businesses, the Lancashire NHS and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals as well music promos, performance and dance tuition videos.
Coming from a production background in advertising, marketing and publishing, I
have spent many years working alongside designers, copywriters and photographers. Being
involved in the production of press advertising, direct mail and off-the-page selling, I
believe that I have a well developed understanding of what is required to make an
effective piece of video communication.
I am Master Member of the Institute of Videography and have ten years experience as a cameraman and editor and often work as a freelance cameraman for other video and event companies. Having also worked for many years as a semi-pro musician, I have a good understanding of music presentation and sound recording.
As a video production business I am interested in providing good quality, creatively sensitive video solutions and I am committed to producing the best possible standard of work within a given budget.

HOW TO COMMISSION A VIDEO
As video can be produced to a variety of standards and formats - all of which can have a very significant effect on the cost and quality of your finished video, then choosing the right video production company is clearly very important. So where do we start…. Ok, step 1 is to really clarify the purpose of your video and how the end product will be used. If it is only going to be seen on You tube for instance, then you don’t need to pay for broadcast standards, whereas if it is going to be used for cinema advertising then you certainly won’t want it shot on minidv.

HOW WE DO IT
I will sit down with you and clarify all the relevant information about your video. Its objective, target audience, how and where it will be used etc. Then there’s the style, format, running time, budget and a basic production schedule. When I have enough information I will go away and write a draft script, which when approved, will be linked to a basic shot list. This will be followed by a filming schedule and if a voice over is required, this will be recorded following a rough edit. A draft final edit, complete with music and narration will then be presented for your approval.
