DELUXE KITCHENS

Deluxe Kitchens of Chorley wanted a promotional video for their new website.

The message was clear 'Stunning Kitchens at an Affordable Price'. So we decided that the kitchen designs themselves should be the main selling point along with the many customers who were keen to provide a testimonial.

We went out around Lancashire and filmed lots of kitchens that they had installed - all very visually pleasing, although the confined spaces proved to be quite demanding even with a wide angle lens!

KARTFORCE

Corporal Andy Reid lost his right arm and both legs in a road side explosion while serving in Afghanistan. Despite his injuries, Andy has astounded both his family and his doctors with accomplishments that no one thought possible.

We filmed him enjoying a karting experience in Manchester using special controls developed by Kartforce.

FJS

In March this year VISION FOUR VIDEO were asked to collaborate with ABC VIDEO FACILITIES to produce a fundraising video for the Federation of Jewish Services in Manchester. This film tells the rather moving stories of five out of the many people that they help every day.

The film was shown at their Fund Raising Dinner in Manchester and a copy on DVD was given to everyone present. The client reported that the whole room was moved to tears.

This clip is just three of those stories - you may wish to have a tissue ready...

ASTRA DOORS

Astra Door Controls are a UK company based just outside the Lancashire town of Preston in the Northwest of England. They produce door closing controls for the European and world markets and wanted a promotional video to promote their innovative new concealed door control.

Being 'concealed' means that when fitted, it is pretty much invisible and this did give us a few head scratching moments as how to show this product successfully. However, with some lateral thinking and a little ingenuity, we created this promotional video and it is already helping to bring in the orders.

CAMDEN PLACE

Austin Hughes has been a practicing Dental surgeon now for almost twenty seven years he now runs the Camden Place Dental Practice in the centre of Preston In Lancashire. As he and his colleague Andy Holly are two of the most qualified dentists in the area they wanted to use video on their new website to help communicate the benefits that can they offer.

Both dentists talked on camera along with several of their patients who gave testimonials. There are shots of the reception, tasteful views of a patient in the surgery along with the implant theatre. Another very happy client.

PolicE and FIRE SERVICES

This was a training film for Police and Fire services across Lancashire in order to raise awareness of the Help Direct service and to demonstrate how it can be helpful to them when dealing with people who need help with small every day problems.

Creating a series of real life scenarios that these front line services are likely to experience, it was all shot in three days in and around Burnley.

RECLINERS DIRECT

Recliners Direct of Leyland in Lancashire want a series of instructional videos to demonstrate how to assemble their more complicated chairs.

Whilst not particularly difficult to film, the tricky aspect of this type of video is getting the narration clear and the timing just right to fit with the demonstration video.

Once again they were very, very pleased with the finished film.

INSTRUCTING THE INSTRUCTORS

Following the success of the promotional web video we produced last
year for the Greenlight Driving School, we were asked this year to
produce a similar film to promote the Driving Instructor Training side of
the business.

In the light of the bad press that some of the Instructor Training schools had been having, Managing Director Austin Finley wanted to focus on the high quality of training that they provide and the track record of the Greenlight Training company.

Once again they were very, very pleased with the finished film.

A SLOW MOVER

The CX3 Gantry is a rather large Xray machine designed to see through
a lorry's cargo to ensure the load is what the carrier states it is. Built by
engineers in Chorley for an American company, it is not allowed to be
used in the UK or America because if there were people stowing away,
it would cause them serious injury.

It moves very slowly up and down the length of a vehicle and this film
was shot to demonstrate to the client that the build was on schedule.
